Nicole & Jeff LeCompte
Head Groomer and Owners

Nicole and Jeff started their family in 2012 when two labradoodle puppies stole their hearts. It wasn’t long before they decided they wanted to spend all their time working with animals. With their new-found passion and love for creativity they decided to get into the pet industry. Nicole started her career in 2009 when she finished Cosmetology school at Citrus College and received her cosmetology license. She worked at professional salons in Seattle and San Diego specializing in different hair cutting and color techniques. Loving the art of hairstyling but wanting to make the switch to the pet industry she decided to start pet grooming in 2013. Nicole started working at Paw Alley Pet Grooming in 2014 and in 2015 Jeff and her bought Paw Alley Pet Grooming. Her favorite dogs to groom are Poodles and Doodles, she enjoys hand scissoring and technical haircuts. Jeff runs the salon, bathing and prepping dogs. He enjoys working on Bull Dogs and Pit bulls of all kinds. When these two are not at work they spend most their time with their toddler and their dog Sage.

Alayna
Groomer

Alayna is our San Diego native and it shows with her laid-back personality. Animals have always been a large part of her life and currently she has 3 dogs, 4 cats and a snake. When she is not working she hosts weekly game nights with friends and family. Alayna started her career as a groomers assistant, she spent three years learning different tricks and techniques. Then in 2017 she made the plunge to groomer and hasn’t looked back.

Mary
Groomer

Mary is the newest addition to the team but don’t let that fool she is a talented groomer with 3 years of experience. Raised in Maryland she grew up around dogs and horses. Her love for animals started early and it shows with her patience and care while grooming. She is the proud mom to a beautiful Border Collie mix and a special needs cat. Being new to San Diego Mary likes to site see and take her dog to new dog parks.
